    At first glance we appear short on midfielders :)

    The 2 - 7 - 1 formation is much underused I'd say!

    Terrific player scored a great goal in play-off final but if he is a central midfielder we don't need him. Perhaps it was a bid put in before we signed McGeehan in case that deal didn't go through

    what sort of midfielder is he? can understand the bid if he's more defensively minded but as already pointed out, surely we have enough attacking mids.

    Would much more prefer kyle Vassell instead... pace and goals in him, also plays wide. Good replacement for Marley..

    Clubs also use.. The Press.. to there advantage you know. Things like problems that they want to keep " In-house" To try to keep a lid on. Or just put out story's that put said clubs in a favourable light

    Don't think it would be a wise thing to do, make a enemy of any members of the press... Two way street im afraid.

    Primarily a winger but can play centrally too.

    Watched this lad closely in the play off final vs Exeter as I knew we were linked with him.

    Fantastic ball control, long range shooting, finishing, passing & vision. Touch of Hourihane about him I'd say.

    Would go in for Cullen & Osayi Samuel too.

    He's the player we were very close to signing last week and was tipped to be in before McGeehan.

    We've made an offer for him and hopefully will have him in soon but as well know, there's no 'real' rush at the moment as clubs aren't even back for pre season.

    If he's a winger then great because we need a couple

    Although would've preferred his name to being with H because we've got Hammill and Hedges so could have continued this. Disappointing

    Impressed with this lad against us in the cup games this year. Definite MoM for me in the tie at Bloomfield Road, can play in the centre but was right side midfield that day and would give a different option to us there. With McGeehan and Potts we would have hoovered up two of the brightest talents in Div 4.

    Was it not an either or situation with McGeehan?

    Are they very similar players? Seem to be loading up on them, or do you reckon Hecky fancies moulding them into other positions? Can he play out wide?

    I was told both in but as in the know I like to think I am, it could be wrong haha

    Also been priced out ridiculously for a League 2 defender.
