To be fair mate you're right. But for every qoute I've had from a good source . 90% are rumours way off mark. I don't know if Gordon's got his from the rumours factory or indeed a good source. But GG did say nobody would be leaving on the cheap.

That's about what we bought him for isn't it? Including the add-ons, a bit more than we paid. I don't think he's improved while he's been with us. If anything, he's just shown he's not prolific at Championship level. @fitzytyke2 summed him up well: you have to pick him out in the penalty area for him to score goals. There's more to his game too, he works really hard, particularly when the opposition are in possession, but that's not something clubs will pay money for. I've always thought he's been massively overvalued on here and the offer highlighted is all we're ever likely to receive. That doesn't mean we should sell him, particularly if we didn't have a definite replacement lined up, but I don't believe we could ever get more for him.

Nailed on hattrick from Bradshaw today after typing that.

    500k was the original fee.

Agree with that sentiment although I still think 500k is slightly on the low side as I think he’s probably get 1 in 3 in the championship in a decent side. He’s a very good finisher and quite a clever player

My point was I would be disappointed to accept what is a fairly small amount of money for a resource that will be important for us this season in terms of goals and fits very well into the high pressing system.

If you had a good source, a source which couldn’t be much better, would you regurgitate the info on here, presumably betraying the trust the source has in you?

Not sure I would. Doesn’t mean this isn’t true though.

    Either way 600k is terrible.

Tom will score today in a home win.

He’d better as I’ve got that as a double with paddy power...

I have done. There's worse things in the world to worry about than football.
