I went in 1993 so not that fussed, but we're going to try and get tickets, as a mate hasn't been there before and wants to do the 4 pubs thing. We haven't got any ticket priority these days, so I imagine we're only going to be successful if we are already down.
Im not certain it will be their final game - good chance they will be in the Playoffs I hope to go - I've loved my visits there over the years - a proper football ground with some decent pubs surrounding it Hopeful I can get a ticket regardless of whether the game means anything to us- in fact if we are down already (or safe) I might even be cheering Brentford on if the game has some significance to them. Shame I probably wont be going to the new ground next season
Heads up for anyone interested, train tickets are pretty reasonable at moment. Got ours for 22 quid return.
The Royal Oak was closed but It re-opened last year under a new name so its back to 4 its now called the Brook - I've not been in it
Imagine if us losing could deny Leeds automatic promotion. It'd be like that day at Portsmouth when loads of people wanted us to lose because it would send Huddersfield down.
If we are already down/safe I'd take a defeat if it means they go up instead of Leeds. They mention the possibility of extra home tickets at a later date, but I reckon we will sell our allocation with it being the last chance to ever go there.
Definitely. I'd get as much satisfaction from this as I would from a Barnsley win under these circumstances.
