Groves should become a world champion at 4th time of asking, probably with a stoppage in the second half of the fight. Brooks is being underestimated by the bookies, but either way I don't see it going the distance. William Hills offering EVENS from 8/13 for a KO either way between 5-7 o clock to a max twenty quid. Looks a much more exciting Box Office card than the Joshua one the other week on paper.
Hope that Brook wins but believe he will too. Spence it wouldn't be a surprise to see go all Jeff Lacy when he came over here. Next big thing, talked up loads and get schooled. Brook I think is a little annoyed he doesn't get the recognition he should for all he's achieved. He will be determined to win in front of nearly 30,000 and fufil his lifelong dream of performing at his teams stadium. He's got experience on his side and a brilliant record against southpaws. Spence hasn't been in a situation before anything like this and could well freeze. Back to Groves and we can bet when he wins that post fight he will be calling out Degale for a good domestic clash payday.
Stoppage in the second half. As we said. Great display from GG. Chudinov is strong and can fight. But he's very one dimensional. GG has too much in his locker and it showed. Onto the main event. Brook on points. But hope he gets him out of there before that.
Spence was much better than I expected, and was well ahead on the cards before the stoppage. Not sure what the game plan was from Brook, but his defence is terrible when it matters.
Backed Spence in 11th at 22/1. My account looking a lot healthier now Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Brook was in the fight for a fair while. Now I dunno how he can carry on boxing. Khan fight will probably happen now neither have other options, but it should have happened a few years ago with both guys in their prime and world titles on the line.
Doesn't want to risk causing more damage to his eyes. They suspect he could have broken his other eye socket now. IMO Brooks needs to think long and hard about calling it a day now.
If he does continue he won't be fighting at that weight again. Just don't know who's available to rebuild his career after two bad defeats in a row. Khan fight would mean nothing now as he's done bugger all for years and neither have a belt so putting it on Box Office at Wembley like they would have planned to has no chance at the moment.
Confirmed that Kell Brook has definitely broken his eye socket. He has stated he's going to fight on. As Dreamboy has said pundits are tipping he will probably move up a weight.
Light middle is not a particularly strong division and he's still a decent name. He'd most likely win a title within two fights once he makes the step up.
