Pardon? Are you arguing that we are a bigger club than Sheffield Wednesday? I am simply wishing him luck if he’s lucky enough to land the role.
Can't blame Wednesday fans being annoyed. Bruce failed at Aston Villa. Wednesday took a punt on him and were generous enough to allow him not to start there straight away after what had been a very tough time he'd gone through. Six months later and he's resigned three weeks before the season starts, without compensation even being agreed. Stinks of shithousery to be fair. All to join a club of fans who hate him after he took the cash of their most hatred rivals despite being 'one of their own'.
“A shot at the big time?” Last time I checked we were in the same division and in a considerably better position in both financial and footballing terms.
In your opinion. In mine they have a top quality squad that won’t be given away to the lowest bidder and an owner that’s desperate to give money TO the team rather than take it away. Still unsure about your comment about what’s ‘got into me recently’ mind hah?
Stendel seen putting petrol in his car down near Wadsley Bridge an hour ago. Read into that what you will.
Saw Stendel at Oakwell this morning wi a blue cardigan on, dont know what to mek of that either By the way new SHIRTS FOOOOKIN AWESOME.
He's now resigned at 7 of his 10 managerial jobs. I knew he was a quiter but I didn't realise he was THAT bad.
My comment is in response to your persistent gripes about Chien and co. You're so far off reality. I have my concerns about certain aspects of the regime, particularly the lack of transparency about their other businesses (though I'm told that's par for the course with people of their ilk) and their exact reasons for being here. But, and it's a big but, to suggest they're here to just sell players for a small profit is bonkers. It's small change. They're here to make money but you have to assume they plan to do that by reaching the premier league. It's a long term plan and one they clearly feel is achieved by constantly bringing in money from player sales and reinvesting it all back in to the team, snowballing each time so the quality of your squad increasing each time you sell and reinvest. That's what they promised and that's what they seem to be doing. It's going to take time and we're going to lose more fan favorites yet, but I'm with them 100%. It's the only way for a club like ours. If you're serious about wanting them to pump their own money in to it then don't ever come on here complaining about money and unfairness and "modern day football". We're sticking to the rules and trying to do things the right way. I'm proud to support a club doing that in a league in which most others don't. I think the future is bright for us and it's a shame you see it exactly the opposite way.
