"Birmingham City will get serious about Marc Roberts at Barnsley once Terry is officially signed elsewhere. Burnley and Huddersfield on alert"

Wrong move for him IMO either of the latter 2 would be better

I know money talks but he's rejected them once before so I don't think it'll be Birmingham he'll go to. It'll be the premier league he leaves us for I'd have thought.

I heard they were rumoured to be looking at offering £100k a week to John Terry?? Looking like they're throwing some coin around like Villa this season

If there's a war to sign him then that in a way can only be good news for Barnsley.

We need Roberts to stay - selling him will increase the risk of relegation- however, if he does go then Barnsley must squeeze every last pound coin out of the deal.

Redknapp on his way to busting a club again. Roberts will go, but not to Brum. Hasn't he already said he will only go to the Premier?

Slightly different. Roberts hasn't come out and said Premier League clubs want him. But we as fans know they will.

If there's war sign him the it will only benefit Roberts no one else. It won't benefit barnsley, we'll just accept an other we think is ok and then all other clubs offer the same. The bidder war will be Roberts wages

Nixon wasn't so on the ball and has kept quiet about us signing a player from his club. Knob.

If he was to move to brum, it would, in my opinion be for nothing more than money. I am no way indicating that we are a bigger club than them but i just cant see how moving there would further his career.

Birmingham will now probably win the championship :D

Just yesterday he told fans we weren't close to McGeehan but were close to another instead.

Can't stand the bloke. Makes a living out of getting agents and club employees to leak stuff. No actual journalism.

Thing is he gets so much wrong it's laughable but folk only remember the right ones. No doubt he has contacts but he's no where as in the know as he thinks he is. If I was sad enough I'd go trough all his tweets and work out his hit rate but I can't be arsed, bet he deletes the wrong ones anyway.

I recall in the close season prior to us going to the Premier League. I decided to make a list of the players we were going to sign according to Ceefax and Telerext. At 128 I gave up.

Can I start by saying I really like Robbo and think he is a good player but I would be surprised if he proved to be Premier league quality.

Apparently we've rejected a bid from Birmingham for him.
