When asked in an interview after the Ipswich match what is the objective now towards the end of the season, Hecky said 'we have to continue to BUILD and BUILD so every players understanding is better'

    Why ???

    What's the point ???

You have to greatly admire Heckys fighting spirit - but he knows that these players will be allowed to walk out of the door in June - this team will be dismantled then - he has said so in interviews last week.

And yes it's a similar topic to recent posts but in this case it's discussing his latest interview with interviews from last week.

He's trying to keep some momentum and enthusiasm for the rest of the season . What's the alternative? .'Oh well we're safe now so let's just hope for the best ' .

There's always a point, otherwise why not just close the gates and flatten the ground?

    Yes - I know that.
I'm being a bit of a Devils Advocate here - trying to get people to think what they would do in his position???
It's a thankless task he has at the moment.

The loans will return, and some players will leave and new players will join. Others will stay and it gives those players another 10 games or so to improve their performances ready for next season. With a number of new players coming in, it is vital that those players that are here now know exactly what to do and when - it stops at least half the team playing catch-up in August.
