Would they get the 12 points deducted this season? If so, that isn't really a punishment because looking at the table they've not much hope of staying up. That said, I do feel for the fans...
Be amazing if tomorrow is finally the day football starts to fall in this country with a club at a high level going bust at long last. Won't happen though.
I was thinking same hardly much of a punishment all but down points deduction should start from next season.
Death and taxes. Bit of a bugger when you're facing both, but no sympathy from me. Entirely self-inflicted. Its time to scrap points deductions and bring in auto-relegation. For Birmingham too, the cheating sods.
I don't feel for the fans at all. They weren't protesting when they knew full well their club was making a mockery of the rules. Plus they can get a tour of non league grounds and easy promotions for a few years watching Bolton Wanderers Mark II.
As far as I'm aware the points deduction is applied this season initially, but if they'd have gone down without it, it gets carried over to the next season.
It would be immediately after going into admin. I remember Dirty Leeds voluntarily going into admin when they were already relegated to avoid losing the points the following season a few years ago.
Yes so they changed the rules after that - now if you are going down anyway the deduction is for next season
Two week stay of execution..... https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...inding-up-order-high-court-hmrc-a8831426.html More lives than a cat that club.
Can't stand them or their fans. When we played them last season one of them was walking up the car park saying "I can't believe we're in the same division as bloody Baaaaaaarnsley".
