    My grand daughter decided the other day that she'd been promised cake. She hadn't. Nobody had mentioned cake but she's only a toddler.
    As the day went on she kept going on about the cake she'd been promised. Wound herself up more and more. By bedtime she was screaming and carrying on something awful. Threw all her toys out of the cot and eventually cried herself to sleep.
    As an experience it was both annoying and, at times funny. But she is only two.

    She has now decided that she will be getting cake in January and that unless she receives it very early in the month and unless it is very, VERY expensive cake she is going to thcweam and thcweam.
