Before the deluge of abuse  I am wondering that now we have an experienced CB in Sollbauer, would it enable Mads to settle down and start to improve his game now that he may be paired with a classy looking player.?

Same as Lindsay benefited by playing alongside Pinnock?

When Lindsay went to Stoke, he was the worst CB ever seen in a Stoke shirt according to many of their fans, and I think sometimes the weaker of a pairing can up their game, benefiting from the partnership.

I hope this is the case as Halme has shown he has a real quality about him playing in the diamond, I'd like to see him stay there

He can’t do nothing else but improve.

Hopefully this new lad is going to be the one who shows for the ball and takes that pressure off Anderson, I don’t think he is comfortable with that role. And to be fair he’s probably going to have abit of gone out of the first team now, I think he’s needed it too. This league is way more physical and played at a pace he isn’t used to and it’s showing.

Yes he is still a young player at 22yrs. Kevin Longs experience was invaluable in bringing along Mawson and Robert's back in 2015

I’d certainly hope so. Surely he can’t get any worse?

Lindsay used to get plenty of stick on here, but I don’t think he was ever as bad as Mads or Bambo are, even when he first joined.

His involvement in the second goal v. PNE casts some doubt on that but then I remembered Foster doing the same thing
    in a 0-4 defeat .
He was in a similar situation in front of the East Stand and he was a very experienced defender .

At one point I thought he had turned a corner, he started the season and was poor but prior to derby away had a few decent games then derby away he was dreadful and tuesday was a hard watch looked like he had won a raffle

Liam Lindsay was pretty poor IMO, his lack of pace being just one of his weaknesses. Anderson will easily be the better of the two as he develops.

Mads will pair with Sollbauer. Halme back in midfield. Surely?

It’s not been mentioned much due to Mads’ errors but Dougall was embarrassingly bad on Tuesday. He doesn’t hold midfield, he goes chasing around leaving us wide open. He will drop out. And Thomas for Woodrow I expect.

Just hope Oduor gets fit because he was a real bonus until these two defeats he missed.

He needs to go out on loan, preferably to Charlton.

Good news. I think Mads will improve in time, with coaching an an experienced pro by his side, but we could do with being up & running now, if we are to avoid the drop. When Oduor is back fit we should have a decent backline. Shame we didn't go into the season with one, but at least Struber seems to be getting some support from the board.

I'm sure he can improve but I think that will be to league 2 standard. He isn't exactly a child and hasn't mastered the basics yet.

Let's not forget that at his previous club his centre back partner was an experienced player with 240 games

Instead of " if in doubt boot it out," his mantra seems to be " if in doubt mess about."
He has to start and learn where he's going wrong, otherwise it's inevitable that he
will be dropped from the team and could find it hard to get back in. Might be best if
he was farmed out on loan.

He will get better with games, but he might find time hard to come by as I suspect he will be dropped for the new signing.

Yes he can and I think he will but chucking him into the first team at championship level without experience alongside him has been a huge mistake.

He's just not championship standard yet and having a new one torn every game and seeing his mistakes punished so regularly will not be helping his development or confidence.
