    Transfer listed by Posh as they can't agree a contract extension.

    Ive got to say he looks very impressive on this video and the type of winger we need who can also play upfront.

    Deadly from set pieces and crosses the ball in a very similar style to Hourihane. Looks purposeful in the way he runs at players and gets his shot away. I think this lads end product would be an upgrade on Ryan Kent who had all the skill and trickery but maybe put in 10 successful crosses all season.

    At 23 you'd think he'd be well on our radar.

    I think if we offered 10 million, The Peterboro owner would want another 20 quid..... Not sell to us..

    What are you talking about? Maddisons played over 100 games in the football league.

    Bogles played around 30.

    Be a good signing for us he's got the potential in this league but does need work and we've got the right man to do that.

    Still rather bring somebody in who is in our budget and policy but has played Championship level but beggars can't be choosers.

    124 games for Posh scoring 30 goals and assisting 38. Not bad at all.

    Conor played 134 times for us scoring 31 goals with 48 assist so very similar stats although no one tops our our Conor when it comes to producing goals.

    Not arguing his quality and not arguing that with work done by Hecky, he could be a very good winger at this level but he does need work.

    We've got a near on full squad coming in this summer and if we've got a full squad coming in with players that need to be worked on, we're gonna struggle. Look at Bradshaw last season. Needs a lot of work to be at this level and I felt improvement was seen as the season went on but it took him a good few months.

    Then again, I can argue against myself and pick out Yiadom, MacDonald, Roberts and Hourihane as you say.

    Agreed I like someone with Championship experience, but at the same time look at Mowatt who has played over 100 games in the Championship and has started slower than any of our recent signings.

    I think they'd be asking too much personally, which was about £3,000,000 in January if I remember right.

    Could be although that they've transfer listed him seemingly as they want the money in for this window suggests they may be willing to take a cut price.

    Shrewd operator though their chairman he doesn't make many mistakes in transfer dealings.

    I think that's the stumbling block. I get the impression that he's more interested in getting the money up front rather than having a future stake.
