    I got done for that a few years ago. A genuine mistake though so I was "let off" with a £60 fine.

    More like the increase in ANPR cameras on town and city centre roads. Big brothers watching you ;)

    Why do you think the dvla scrapped the paper disc to make even more money from the motorist

    always said it should be put on fuel, so the more you use the roads the more you pay and everyone has to pay as well even foreign hauliers

    I actually really like the way it currently works, based off emissions. Gives a reason for folk to buy cars that are better for the environment

    There used to be separate offences of failing to have a current tax disc and failing to display it. So now DVLA can concentrate on not actually having car tax. That said, you can't get done if you have it!

    Also as iv found out recently it is now an offence to not insure your vehicle, even if it is off the public highway on private property with tax and MOT

    I bought a car that the previous government told me was good for environment now im being punished by this government nothing changes with governments give with 1 hand takeaway with tother
