Lindsay has to play if fit. We were all over the place from set pieces without him. Not saying at all that this was down to Jackson, but Lindsay is so good in the air.

The most dominant we've been against our opponents in a long time. Fleetwood scored a couple, but we never felt in danger. Therefore I would keep the same team.

Surely cavare picked up a knock and Lindsay injured. If their both fit to play it put them back in cavare is a good threat going forward and Lindsay has been consistent most of the season.

The most dominant in what sense? We conceded two at home.

We were very good going forward, but the fact we conceded 2 at home would suggest that the 2 enforced (possibly) changes, weakened us at the back.

Some people hate Lindsay on here for some reason though.

He's a fantastic footballer, just sometimes a little naïve with his decision making and it can leave fans frustrated

The two that came in did well. I guess Cavare can't be too bad if he was ok for the bench. Williams had a good game for me. All their attacks were down Pinillos's side.

I agree. But that decision making is not consistent with the amount of abuse he receives on here.

Lindsay would come back in for me. He’s the most vocal one in our defence and we looked all over from the set pieces. Considering Jackson came in for a game earlier in the season (was it Pompey?) we defended well but Lindsay went straight back in to the side the week after, I would say that if he’s fit, he’ll go back in.

I thought Williams did well and will probably keep his place.

We conceded 2 v Coventry at home and 3 away at Burton. I think they both should come back in if fit. Not sure I've seen any posters hate Lindsay on here most are in agreement he is a good defender to some he can do no wrong. Only one poster on here is over critical of Lindsay I would say.

I thought Williams had a very good game. He never looked threatened and he helped in the attacks, getting forward really well.

Maybe leave them out if fit with a eye on Monday. Our record when playing more than once a week is abysmal so fresh legs might be a big boost.

Lindsay is a brilliant defender. We have 4 matches left and Shrewsbury home is on paper at least the easiest in my book. If he's 100 percent play him. If not use Jacko and get him right for two away trips and Blackpool, AND possibly the playoffs.

Whilst we missed Lindsay's heading abilities we were far better balanced with a right footer playing right side. I would be tempted to play three at the back Pinnock, Lindsay and Jackson, with two wingbacks. Cavare's biggest fault is not tracking back after his forays up front which needs Mowatt or McGeehan to fill in behind him. Visiting teams usually only play one up front anyway.

With four games to go of the season you’re tempted to throw the formation in the air and adopt a completely new style?

    We’re second. Not second bottom.

Did you have your eyes shut on the other occasions they got through and nearly scored?

Difficult to assess properly due to the sending off, but on balance I'd keep the same line-up. Perhaps a few changes for the following Monday if there are any tired legs.
