Anything to do with failing a medical? Only injury he's had is the shoulder..... Shame, since he wanted out thought it would be ideal to swap Yiadom for Joe Lolley + £3m and then use a bit of that to get Cavare in... that would have been the deal of the window for me! Amazing to think that since Bristol we could have a team with Fryers, Lindsey, Pearson, McGeehan, Isgrove, Barnes & Thiem who either weren't signed or weren't available. Plus whoever else we sign. Exciting to see how this squad develops in the first few months. Greedy but a Paul McShane type centre back & a big target man striker I think we have a squad that Hecky can mould into something special.
All I got told was it was to do with him not being very happy about him being a squad player. I think he wants to be a guaranteed starter for them but surely that is a privilege that needs earning? My honest opinion is that he wants the move to Swansea more than he does Hudds. I haven't been told that but that's just my gut feeling.
He's being awfully advised! He would have been first teamer until Tommy Smith was back. And if he demonstrated he was good enough he'd keep his place, or at worst be cover, in the premiership, on both sides with a lot of money in his pocket (and ours). He's playing a dangerous game. Swansea may not even be keen any more. Last thing we want is a sulking player we can't get rid of. Looking forward to seeing what develops next week with incomings!
Wasn't he priced at £1.8m? Or was that just paper talk? Edit: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....imitri-cavare-from-rennes-for-13-million.html this article seems to think he was
