Yes he really is. Without him we would never had gone into liquidation either...

He lost my father a lot of money...

That's why you shouldn't let someone who has gone bust several times fun a football club

We should forever be thankful to him. He should easily be on the BFC Mount Rushmore of every fan alongside Preedy, Cryne and Rimmington.

I only learnt yesterday night that we had a French CEO, so from my perspective he's been in position for about 12 hours.

I'm sorry about your Dad losing money, was he a creditor of the club?
As for the club going into administration I think the lack of support from the club's bankers at the time was the nail in the coffin there.
With the ITV Digital deal going tits up they could have extended the overdraft, given the healthy assets the club had at the time.
I think we owed the bank about a million quid, which is peanuts really.

Though it was to do with the Bank being taken over by Australians and all the debts being

called in, might be wrong though

This is one area I have never had explained to me how the demise of ITV digital in June 2002 is cited as a cause of the onset of administration.

ITV digital paid second tier clubs approx £3m pa and third tier clubs £300k. My logic is that as we had been relegated, for the 2002/03 season we would have received £300k not the £3m that seems to be bandied around.

Question is am I missing something ?

Be great if he could meet a delegation from this board to tell him our views.

    Introduction might go as follows.

    Bonjour Monsieur Chief Directeur General

    Comment allez vous?
Merde Tête est un fan que vous devez le recontrer.

Hello Mr Director General. How are you.? Sh*t Head is a fan you must meet him.

Didn't know the Nat West had been taken over by Aussies, thought it was Fred the Shred's lot.

We were relegated (in May) two months after ITV Digital (in March) went into administration. The money we were expecting for the rest of that season was not paid.

    Thanks Scoff.

So the club didn't get the 2002/03 money at the start of the season ? If the money was received in monthly installments then 3-4 months unpaid say £750k- ish ?
