Please walk off the pitch, we might have a chance then.
    Same goes for Thomas.

    Both terrible today...

Chaplin been dog **** for ages now. Had a brief decent spell last season but apart from that he's done absolutely nothing.

Thomas is gash , mowatt hasn't got a creative ball in him , Woodrow needs to play up top and I'd play a 442

Played a ball into six yard box not a red player anywhere near . We’ve got to attack the box to have any hope of scoring .

    So what do we say?
Well done boys! Just a minor shame you couldn't pass to each other, we were staying red today boys, and try not to shoot straight at their chaps in future can we???

Ffs, we need goals and points, alongside effort and skill. Chaplin and Thomas have shown none of that, and so far mowatt is playing hoof ball...

Tbf, it's not a propaganda board, folk have different opinions and there's plenty pointing out the good things about Barnsley performances.

Can't understand it we have supposed to have been trying to sign a striker, we haven't, but we have one sat on the bench week after week who knows where the net is and cannot get a run but yet walks into Austrian u23 side

You realise we created more chances than Bristol?

I think Schmidt deserves a few starts now. Chaplin offered very little today...

I'm afraid Mowatt isn't good enough for this league. Great point today though and I think Kane will prove to be a great signing. Matty James will give us some much needed experience to the midfield. I'm optimistic that things will improve and we'll be ok this season.

Okay, so the start of the second half revealed some of our broader shortcomings but I was actually thinking to myself at half-time that with Kane to come in for Thomas and that striker we bought yesterday to replace Chaplin this lot might come together into a promising side, particularly with Matty James up our sleeve too, albeit Palmer was a more than adequate stand-in in today's first 45. Sadly I woke up then and the harsh reality hit home of it being 439 days since we gave away Kieffer Moore without semblance of a replacement.

I quite like Chaplin but he was poor today. Did some nice flicks at the start of the game but never really got involved a whole lot after.

Only got to watch the first half and thought to myself we did well with 8 men on the field..........whilst not wanting to single anybody out and put all the blame on one players shoulders. I feel mowatt chaplin and Thomas all went missing at times ...mowatt on today's showing will struggle to hold down his place in the near future if hes not careful and appears to be going backwards skill wise .and overall play .as for chaplin I've never been a fan to be honest....good top end league one player at best....Thomas shoots when he should pass and passes when he should shoot....another one who is league one..at the best....

People are saying James might be a good influence on Mowatt. I disagree. I think Marty will take his place in the team.

Mowatt has been off it for some time and I never think he is going to score. He’s too complacent I think and needs a rest. Might come back better.
