    That’s diabolical, it makes Cauley’s penalty kick even sweeter though. Wasn’t their a high profile game years ago with something similar, perhaps an International game?

    8 seconds in this video, the ref is watching the players dig the penalty spot up and does absolutely nothing. Doesn't even book them or anything.

    I was only thinking prior to the last ten minutes what a sporting game it had been. No bad fouls, referee letting things flow.

    Then this happens. Firstly it was disgusting that all the City players, Alfie included, were so outraged that a penalty had been given when it clearly shows O'Dowda standing a good foot inside the area when he committed his assault. Then, one after another, their players go to the spot and deliberately try to scuff up the area to put off our penalty taker. Why did the referee not see that and why didn't one of our players see what was going on, and go and stand on the spot to stop them?

    From being a nice, sporting football team to just a bunch of thugs and cheats all in the space of a few minutes. All this going on with our player apparently with a serious injury. I didn't see any of their lot go and pat him on the shoulder like players normally do. Holden must be best mates with Harris at Millwall if he thinks that is acceptable behaviour.

    Let's not forget the "bought" free kick off Palmer for their 2nd goal. Thing is , some of our own fans call all this "shithousery" when it goes our way. I call it cheating.
