    Arabian Ian, Mark McGhie is a scot that you will know something of.
    Eighteenish years ago he was the manager of Wolves who were the main rivals of Barnsley for a promotion place into the Premiership. He was quoted as saying (something like) "I think the clubs in the Premiership would rather Wolves join them rather than Barnsley." like, pure disdainful snobbishness which the likes of Barnsley always cop.

    The response was a song ...

    Cheer up Mark McGhie
    Oh what can it be
    for a sad scottish bastard
    and a shite football team.

    The team was driven on by the fans and the song was an anthem for that great time for us.
