True, I've got my own thoughts on the hierarchy though which aren't for here.

I am intrigued as to how much leeway our new Chief Exec has though, interesting times.

 

For him to uproot from where he was, I think it's highly unlikely he's come just to be a yes man. Although those with the ABC (Anyone But Cryne) agenda will no doubt claim otherwise.

think you might find theres a very strong chinese conection to the town of barnsley...and if the council got their fingers out and exploited it , then in my opinion i reckon there could be more investment than they know what to do with for the area ....that said ...Norwich union have the biggest say in the town centre .....one of the reasons M/hall got built in sheffield and why paul sykes hates Barnsley council

 

Depends how you define best interest. At some point the club will have to be sold to someone so we will have to confront this issue eventually.

As I said the other day, people seem to think the only option is a cross between the Oystons and Charles Ponzi.

 

So somebody comes along, lets the current management stay in charge, chucks money at the club and takes nothing out? Investors want a return upon their investment. So again, why? Why let somebody sponge off the club?

 

These investors don't seem to want money out these days more like kudos and a penis extension
