We have won every game in which Chris Dagnall has scored for Barnsley. This season we have won 9 games (league and cup). Chris Dagnall has started in 7 of them. Chris Dagnall has started 14 games this season in the league. Our record for those games reads W5 D4 L5. PPG 1.36. AKA a 60 point, mid table season. When we add in cup games that reads 17 starts, 5 goals, W8, D4, L6. Morning, lads.
If you consider us being the worst team in the whole country in 2012 as being a positive then you're spot on.
One of his posts in this thread is pretty accurate. We did sell Butterfield and Davies. We were at the bottom of the league by Christmas this season. He's a perpetual moaner and way too dramatic, but in March last year he was spot on about what would happen under Keith Hill.
I only read his first post. Butterfield was nailed on, Davies probably too. I'd give him the bottom of the league one but he was saying that all the way through Robins reign..
Ever since Spotland I made him my hero. I touched him. Got a photo and a "no worries mate" from him. He's never looked back. I'm desperate to find Wiseman and get a photo with him....
I had to look twice then at the username, thought it was another one of HT's I told you so posts At least i can sleep easy tonight in the knowledge that I have never slagged of Dagnal btw whens he out of contract
There must be quite a few on here squirming with embarrassment at seeing this thread bumped back up. Note in particular the comments of Wath & West Melton Tyke! Oh and Dyson! Tha's got a rare talent for spotting a good un! Tha must have got it from thi Dad!
Folk were wrong about Daggers. But all those in the thread saying how good Hill is are just as daft now. Chris Dagnall under flicker is streets ahead of the one seen under Keef
I think he's playing closer to the goal but his performances aren't much different. Still the same effort/pressing etc but not playing behind the striker now.
