Apparently greggs giving free festive pasties out today after half eleven.
It'll be like feeding time at the walrus pen.

Funnily enough, my then-two year old, sat on my shoulders at the zoo, once took my steak bake and tossed it into a Humboldt penguin pool where it was instantly gobbled. I can confirm that Humboldt penguins like steak bakes. In captivity at least.

I never thought I'd find a thread where pasties met aquatic mammals. God bless the bbs!

I'm glad they didn't choose Peel Square. It would have been like the pigeons in Trafalgar Square dressed in grey tracksuits.

I was once asked by an Austrian where the nearest bakery was while they were visiting Glasgow. I didn't have it in me to send them to Greggs!

I understand ring tailed lemurs enjoy the occasional cheese panini but too many gives them gout

Our local Greggs (Sale Moor) does bread and cakes and bread cakes.

I find their bread to be very good quality and the ingredients are quite pure, virtually nothing you wouldn't want to find in bread.

Their corn topped rolls are especially good, light and fluffy in side, not too heavy and bready, like a good Scottish morning roll.

"That would be the council surely!" They have flattened and rebuilt half the town center at least three times in my lifetime.

Christmas menu starts tomorrow. Do a good festive roll they should do all year because it's better than some of their other pastry products.

At least they have tried, unlike the tory bastewards whom have left this town to die. And failed I may add, long live BARNSLEY.
