You've lost me mate. Did I say anything about the ground being condemned? I don't think I did

Well that's a hypothetical question, which hypothetical answer. Would you prefer

What I'd do is like you have fond put the cost workouts he bep and make an informed decision. Only a fool would claim. It was costing money without knowing. How much the solution would cost..
So how much will it cost?

Just a thought, perhaps the next tier of policing/security costs above the initial 5200 are not cost effective for the extra 800ish that could probably fit into the North Stand

Course it's fecking hypothetical. How am I (or anyone else) going to find out the actual costs? What I am asking you is at what point do you say it is not cost effective because at some point it will need to be rectified or knocked down?

Good, we should have given them 3k.

Saves the embarrassment of it looking like a home game for them.

You have to ignore the embarrassment when you're losing a million quid a year.

As we don't have the capacity to give them 8,000 due to 2,000 or so being in a condemned area I assumed that people would know what I meant.

Maybe just segregation mate. They seem to keep the bottom corner clear as well as end of East lower.

Perhaps South Yorkshire's finest and the security bods ought to revise segregation practices at Oakwell. Keep seeing grounds on telly where there's but a few columns of empty seats and a thin line of high vis donned guys separating opposing fans and no signs of trouble.

I asked the club why the north end of the west stand wasn't being used and they replied "we don't need it". I don't think any of it has been condemned as such. The excuse last season (just before the Walsall game) was the extra security cost and I can't see the reason being any different.

That's because the police and stewards at those grounds don't wait at KFC at the other side of town until there is trouble

What I'm saying is and you no this. Is that you cannot make and informed decisions without the facts
. Therefore, your point of throwing money away is incorrect. Unless of course you gave seen a structural report. Costings attendance. Forecast. Etc. Which would enable you to calculate the breakeven point and subsequently you can then say whether or not we are throwing money. Anyway

No. He can state that we are throwing money away because we are. If we post £1m and we ran out of shirts that would have brought just £1000 in revenue then we have thrown away £1000 as that would mean a lower loss.

Say next season we are relegated will the things we ignore because we are doing OK become a problem? At what league position do we address issues? In one of our most successful seasons we lost a million quid so perhaps it's an idea to look at this before a less successful season hits us.
