You seem ok to me. There's no arguing the facts is there really. Hill is the worst manager we've had in over 125 years which is some record. Back at the level he is ok at he is doing ok. I'm decent at what I do if i dunno I suddenly became head researcher for the EU I'd be out of my depth. Same for that ****hook Hill. Things are a bit raw at the moment as more and more people realise what a truly disastrous time the Hillcroft years were for our club. I think it will result in relegation and probably take us 5 to 10 years to get over the way they have mismanaged our club.
But it's in a Keith Hill thread! If I was starting them all over the place, fair enough. Edit: this was in reply to stop going on about Hill.
They've all had some good games. Some more than others. But the fact that they can't do it week in, week out (that is a fact btw, none of them can) means they're not good players. By good players, I mean at this level, we're all good compared to someone, somewhere. A good player at this level (at any level) has the odd bad game, but generally puts in a decent performance every week. The list of players above have all had more bad games than good and as such are not good players at this level. Perkins has been more consistent than most, he's lost it altogether now like, but he wasn't bad for a while. Ok, in a team that's ambitions are to finish 4th bottom. But that's not a good player. It's an average one at best. Wiseman is the weird one. He's put in a number of genuine Championship performances. Not 4th from bottom stuff, as good as you get in this division. He's got all the right attributes too, pace like you rarely see, good fitness, balance and skill and he can adapt to a number of roles. However, he's also produced some of the worst performances I've seen from a defender at this level. A lot of them. He's cost us goals and goals and more goals. I don't know what you do with a player like that. He'll play three games and you'll think he's the best right back you've had. The next three you'll lose, all down to his mistakes. He's the only one you've mentioned that looks like he could be a good player, but he hasn't been, because the consistency just isn't there. When it's not there with a striker, you take the rough with the smooth. When it's not there with a defender, it costs you games.
Flitcroft had it all going the right way. What has happened since the summer is down to him,not Hill. Remember how positive many felt before pre-season,was that down to Hill? No. And nor is anything since.
You're probably right about Wiseman. He doesn't think like a defender enough but has all the attribute to do it better than most. If that makes sense.
442, let me confirm, yet again, what Keith Hill is:- Arrogant Worst manager in BFC's history Loyal to his cronies Ignorant towards non cronies (Bobby Hassell being the classic example) Poor at identifying Championship quality footballers Full of bullsh!t Rude to the paying fans Need I go on? At BFC and championship level, he was useless.......Keith Hill could not pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel. END
Hillcroft they are part of the same problem thinking that a bit of out of date management speak is a substitute for ability. Flitcrofts signings have exacerbated the problems but the best player we have was signed by him O'Grady and he gave us a few months were he galvanised the crap players that Hill had lumbered us with before lumbering us with another set of his own.
Anyway enough Hill ******** from me at last we have a proper manager who given time and support will unravel the mss.
I might join Rochdale forum and tell em all how ***** Keith Hill is... But I've just remembered I've gorra life.
He was a character Told it how it is Some on here cant handle that He will go on to do well We have had far worse Flitcroft fked the club up Lied to the fans about nyatanga too Some fools on here believed his spouting Some even say he did a good job Not seen any evidence of it
Can I ask a genuine question? Given that Hill is statistically the worst manager in our history in what way have we had far worse?
How long have you watched the club ? Me 47 years Can name at least four worse over that period Some on here who have watched for a similair period agree
In terms of results have we ever had a worse manager? Straight question? Are results what matter or not? Keith Hill is the worse manager in our history is that not factually correct? Into my 40th year this year as a reds fan.
Ffs Can we have a seperate section on the forum please and stick this in it Everytime I look at this board this is at the top... doh Seriously. He's a knob
