http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48412747 Any wonder that football is ****** when the bloke in charge is suggesting fans should be thankful for the ridiculous debt in the game? As the person responsible for the shitshow the Football League is becoming he was always going to stand up for the people financing his "business model", but to suggest that without them there wouldn't be a club to support is an insult. The club is the supporters. This gobshite should have taken steps to ensure that clubs were on a level playing field and to prevent losses increasing but didn't. Absolute shambles.
Yeah we should be thankful so many Football clubs are run by con men who don't care about purposely putting their team in massive debt by gambling on getting promoted.
Is he going for a job in politics next the witless twunt? I wonder what his pension package is like as he highlights players wages. It’s also ironic that he says there wouldn’t be certain clubs without rich benefactors, a situation he’s sat back and watch grow, whilst he’s got rich off the back of the business he’s ridiculing.
He ends by saying that players wages are a problem but basically implying that if we pay less top players will go elsewhere. So what!!? My support for my team won't lessen if the quality of players in the league goes down a notch. To***er.
