Fair play. It was a bit laboured in that 2nd half, but they kept playing and didn't succumb to hoisting pointless balls into the area. Well deserved.
Yep, them four stood out for me too, the rest were poor to sh!te. Sterling will never be any good at this level - gets goals for Citeh but they create about 50 chances to 1 goal for him. At international level you get once chance and have to score. And I'm better than feckin Lingard.
The only thing I remember other than the penalty was charging out of the box and losing the ball. But you’re right. He goes down as a “didn’t do anything right or wrong”. Rashford and that other fella looked better when they came on. How Vardy can’t start. Perhaps if he played for city or united
Scores two goals and you think he was poor. It’s s good job Kane was playing 2 chances 2 goals. Rest loads of chances and no goals I’d start Vardy instead of Lingard next game and Rashford instead of Sterling
Skybet doubled a Kane hat trick to 20/1 pre game. I didn't think he would so didn't bother, but if I had I would have been annoyed at the two penalties he should have had to possibly be the tournament current top scorer, out on his own.
No matter how ***** Kane plays, he's always likely to score. You would have to be a total moron to take him off.
Yes he scored 2 goals in the right place at the right time but i'm a guy who say's it as I see it and to be honest through out the game he did not sand out.
It’s not his overall game, he regularly does not a lot, but he has a true strikers knack of coming up with the goods, same as the Jimmy Greaves and Alan Clarke’s of the past.Personally if he was fit I’d never take him off
On a positive note, I thought Tripps was arguably the best all-round player tonight. Wonder if Keith Hill still thinks Scott Wiseman's a better bet at full-back?
