I've just been out for a run and completed #mymarathon, it's a British Heart Foundation charity challenge for people to run 26.2 miles throughout the month of May. I decided to follow a Couch to 5k programme as I've descended into a state of unfitness last seen by Jabba the Hutt which is probably a contributing factor to me having to take a daily pill to control my ridiculously high blood pressure! I was looking to raise a bit of brass for the BHF as my dad, grandad, 2 of my brothers and myself have all had heart related issues in the last couple of years. Anyway my post is a bit of a begging bowl I suppose... Today I ran more than 5k in 28 minutes, beating my target date by a week and my target time by 2 minutes! I've also ran 28.86 miles in May so achieved my 26.2 miles target.
