Winnining 3-2 is very exciting and I know I’m stating the obvious but keeping a clean goes a long way to improving your chances of winning. What do we do to achieve that?
Face a time without any teeth at all? Seriously though, it's extremely tough for us to do that when we've a keeper who's been struggling, a defence that has a mistake in it, full backs who can't block crosses, either standing off too much or committing too early, and a midfield that doesn't press. We've a distinct lack of energy and intensity in our play. Compare this team to the one 18 months ago and we're static beyond belief. Even Isgrove who used to run and run rarely moves now and when he does is knackered. I've no idea whats happened in the last 18 months in terms of method and strategy.
Start by getting the basics right. Look at last nights goal, i think Davies should save it, however, a player on the back post has an easy clearance, we're all over the place defensively and the number of miss kicks are almost unbelievable.
