Exactly murder, sorry I mean redrum (if you reverse it lol)... if we're going to sell then lets make it worth our while eh. Players come and go of course, but the club will always stand and we've got to think of our own profits here a lot more than what we do these days. Yes we've made ace money in recent years on some big player sales, but did we really get what we should have got, when you look at todays ludicrous over rated transfer market.
One of the most promising lower league talents. Former L2 apprentice of the year: would have played a lot more but Pompey play one up front and go for big men with Chaplin an impact sub. But still managed a 1 in 5 record. Bags of pace. Bags of potential. If we sign him it will just be another tick in what is proving a quiet but efficient window. Most impressive for me is we are getting decent fees for players we don’t want. Got used over the last 20 or so years of having to pay players to leave us! Is a complete flip round.
Slightly different. Bradshaw has been linked with a move back to the championship, not to a team from the same division and a promotion rival.
My point being from a Pompy point of view , if they are serious about going up , why would they sell him to us , surely they would want to hang on to their better players & thats my opinion about us & Bradshaw , we should hang on to him
I would be happy with this if it came off. Good young prospect that offers our attack something different. He has real pace and can also play out wide I believe.
I have not seen enough of Chaplin to make a good judgement, but he seems to have performed well when coming on. I notice that the Pompey site refers to Mo Eisa from Cheltenham - now he would be a GREAT signing, fitting best into a five-across-midfield, or front three formation. Bags of pace and great eye for goal. Not the same style as Bradshaw, though, so not a replacement..
70% of his appearances in all competitions have been from the bench [85 out of 121]. Last season he scored 5 goals in 11 league one starts + 15 substitute appearances.
