Great looking lad, rapidly proving himself to be the most complete midfielder we've had in nearly 20 years who can score goals, be dangerous from set pieces, pass, tackle & marshal a team and has Miss England as a girlfriend.

I hope his **** is half an inch.

Fantastic last night. Great to see some proper, proper big mester's tackling - I thought they'd outlawed that in the game these days. It was the one thing the ref got right - letting those go as good, hard, fair tackles.

Yes but if he had just opened his eyes to all the shirt pulling and blatant penalty box tripping we could have been 4-0 up by the end of 90 minutes, three of them being penalties.

It was a great match to watch on Sky, must admit. Terrific value at £6.99 for a day pass and David Prutton is an excellent summariser.

He has always been able to do all thoise things though ! Thats why I was so pissed off with all the ***** about how he couldnt play in a 2 etc !! It was the manager that wouldnt let him loose in his proper [position because it went against his set ideas of how to play the game.
Funny how we are far better at the moment without ANY out and out defensive midfielders playing never mind having 2 of the feckers
    !

Aye he played in a two at Plymouth yet all of a sudden noises come out that he can only play in a three when he came to us. Trying to get him under a longer contract is more important than any summer signing we might try and bring in.

It's funny, when we had a team full of good looking players (with Bailey being a class above), I remembering saying that I wasn't bothered about Hourihane. However, now that they've all gone I get all fluttery when I see him and I can't imagine how I was so blasé towards him.

Bang on. But the majority scoffed at us, Mark. As did the new Bristol City coach....
