Conor McLaughlin, right back from Fleetwood on a free. According to our friend Mr Nixon

He would be a very good signing. Looks a standout player in L1.

Played in Euros for N.Ireland I believed

Maybe a sign Yids if off? Or just extra cover at right back? Or a rumour with no substance?

I'd be happy with that. Had a fantastic season by all accounts.

Brother of former loanee Ryan McLaughlin I believe.

I've wondered for a while whether we'd go in for him as he's got a reputation as one of the best full backs in the lower leagues.

I'd be a tad worried his shortage of pace wouldn't fit into the way we play but he seems defensively solid which is first and foremost what I like in a full back. I'd be happy if he does join.

Not that often at least two family members have played for us in our history.

There's one for the historians. I can think of Stewart and Carl Barrowclough. Any others?

We've been desperate for full backs for a long time and we certaintly won't be actively planning to see Yiadom go.

    Robledo.

Looked at his stats, over his four years there he's played a lot of games so he appears to have good fitness and not be injury prone or always getting banned. Highly rated by their fans too. They would miss him.

Or move Yids in to a right sided midfielder role which I think he's more suited for.

Id take both Fleetwoods fullbacks. Amarii Bell is a good player too.

There's been Premier League interest in Bell so we'd possibly get gazzumped on that one but yes, I'd definitely hope we're looking into getting him too.

He's always stood out for me when we've played them previously, which doesn't often happen with fullbacks. He'd be a good signing I reckon.

Don't forget that AY played a number of games at left back this season and in my opinion was excellent. Maybe going forward PH thinks he could play there permanently next season, hence the move for McLaughlin at right back.

This would be a very astute signing. Hope it's true! We are short at full back position so I don't think it would be a sign that Yids is off.

Yids was predominantly used as a winger by Barnet manager Edgar David's and that is where he played mainly during the whole of his Non league career. Right back is an " unnatural " position for him so it just shows how versatile the lad is.
For me when fit he was one of the stand out players of our season. I would be gutted if he moved on.

He's a quality player. I believe he's also played left back a few times so we'd have him & Yiadom both comfortable either side.

He was one of the few full backs who Hammill couldn't take the piss against in league one
