Everyone was boycotting that competition this season due to u21 sides from the premiership playing. Boycott until you reach the final.
They protested at the Sheffield untied game live on sky and the classy lot from bramall lane sang "sisu in" ect
Well as Oxford are a proper team not one of the U21 teams I can understand why a wembley trip would appeal Hope Oxford win by the way
They were getting less than a 10th of tha in the early rounds. Partly down to protests. Nothing against Coventry but I'd love to see Oxford win as I've a soft spot for them after our encounter last season. It was a great day shared with great opposition supporters. Sent from space using satellites and things
U23 and b team protest has been called off for the final. Against league 3 tweeted that earlier this week.
Sad story for a club that was so well run for so many years. They would be better folding & starting again the way things look there.
It's between two proper clubs so they can enjoy the day out. I'd like to think though if a youth team had reached the final the other clubs fans wouldn't have gone.
An absolute tragedy what has happened to that club . We hear about Blackpool and Blackburn but that's nothing in comparison to Coventry. Foreign ownership sucking every last penny out of a decent club . What do the F.A do ? Sweet F.A.
I'd love to know what happened to the money from Highfield Rd; prime building land near the city centre. Coventry City don't own The Ricoh, it's owned by the council (like Oakwell) so where did all the money go?
