Mid table for me. Certainly won't go down. Derby & Preston & either Posh, Huddersfield, Blackpool or Reading for the third berth.
I thought they looked better than most of the sides that came to Oakwell last season. Hard to tell on just one game but expect them to be top half at least
The worry for me is their lack of goal threat, yes they are well organised and have a couple of good payers but they look a bit rubbish in the finishing department. Would love Forest to go down, that would be funny AF.
Not based on Jesus but the fact that they have looked quick and threatening in both league matches I've watched so far!
I believe you said that you only watched second half against Forest. In the first they were absolute crap.
It was a good open game but I thought we made Coventry look better than what they probably are. Im sure we'll be tougher to break down when things start to gel.
I think we played poorly and they played as well as they will all season. We still won. I could see them struggling.
Good interview about them in The Times...... https://archive.md/HGEnk "He has a preference for three at the back, wing-backs, and playing good football" Come back Mark....
As someone dredged this thread up I had a quick re-read - dont think I will be asking @dodgey defence for this weeks lottery numbers
