Can people use the Ashes thread please. Some of us want to watch the highlights show without knowing the score. New threads are being moved into it, but not quickly enough sometimes.
Currently at Old Trafford. Great atmosphere but we are under the pump. We need to get passed the follow on, otherwise bye bye ashes.
Is that the sort if thing you mean! Not being funny but I think trying not to know the score when something is live is impossible!
Yeah but it's time that's against the Aussies. Irony is while they're batting they aren't bowling us out and wasting overs.
It’s irrelevant now follow on saved so the Aussies have to bat again though probably only for a session or so
It wasn't a big thing to ask really was it. There's a 3 week long Ashes thread that people should be using anyway. I guessed there would be some lovely people, so I avoided this thread as well.
Cricket's been the hardest thing to avoid as it's 11am to 7pm, but there's only been the occasional hint when it's unexpectedly got mentioned somewhere. This site has actually been quite safe, as people have stuck to the Ashes thread 99% of the time. The most annoying one was on Channel 5 itself two minutes before the highlights were due to begin. I switched on and caught the arse end of their news bulletin.
Soccer Saturday spoilt it yesterday with Julian Warren telling people they can switch to the Cricket with Australia currently four down.
