    Added my name to the petition, although the man is that thick skinned I'm
    not hopeful of a positive result, even though Boris said when the pandemic
    first started, that parents should not offload their kids on their vulnerable elderly
    parents.

    There's more than 50 different petitions asking for him to go. Add them together there's prob 1m signatures. Couldn't folk just to have stuck to one. Joe Public are a bunch of numpties really.

    My wife is gutted. She works in a nursery only 180 miles from London and is sure she could have given excellent child care at a decent rate.

    I didn't say that they don't work per se, I mean petitions of this nature. I've signed online petitions myself but only for things that I think have a chance of actually succeeding with its objective. Petitions like this, ban Trump, and stop Brexit were never going to achieve anything.

    I thought that if a petition reached a certain amount of signatures then Parliament had to discuss it .
