A comment from a Sunderland fan had me looking this. Some of their fans see us as being outsiders for automatic, along with Charlton. Themselves, Pompey and Luton fighting it out for 2 places.

Another said that we shouldn't be underestimated as we are the current form team.

Have to say, I love that they don't fancy us. I'm looking at the league table and the top 2 definitely aren't out of reach.

Games in hand and majority of games against the top teams out of the way.

Do I fancy us? Indeed I do!

I was reading the thread you’re on about earlier myself and was thinking write us off at your peril. I definitely think we will make the top two.

Don't want to tempt fate but I was saying just that last night.

I was in a pub and had been drinking mind.

Just so long as we don't do a Barnsley and lose to the struggling teams...

The way I prefer it let them all bull each other up I think come end of the season we’re going to be in top 2.

We seem to be more consistent now than we were earlier on in the season the key is retaining the squad in this transfer window.

After juggling some stats, I'd say this could be fairly close to the mark.

The Luton appointment is crucial. I think they could drop off and make it a three horse race with us, Pompey and Sunderland.

Michael Appleton linked with that job today.

They play Peterborough next. A draw will suit us.

I would have previously said that but he’s always highly thought of and seemed to find his Managerial Mojo with Oxford. Did a great job there if you look at how they’ve struggled since.

We are definitely getting better. Strengthen the squad, don't sell anybody, I think we can reel both top two back in. Luton are a busted flush and Portsmouth aren't carrying on like they started .....yooooo reds
