Feel a real confidence in this guy & the coaching team.

Fans are backing the club in a way I can't remember happening, since Norman Hunter was manager.

Really exciting times, after last year's debacle.

Stendel seems to do his talking on the pitch and its all positive so far. Positive approach, positive substitutions, positive tactics and positive development and use of young players.

Can I beg to differ? There are three different points in your post.
On the first one - Stendel - I agree. Fantastic start. And when was the last time we came back from 2 down in a game and went full on for the winner. A very refreshing approach.
On your second point ‘ fans backing the club’. I don’t feel that. I think many might be backing the team (though a significant number go into full on whinge mode if we not demolishing the opposition for the full 90 minutes) but I think most are not yet convinced of the Clubs intentions. And, no, I don’t think the Bradshaw farce helped.
Even if you accept the fans are backing the Club/ Team, would you really say, it’s better than at any time since Hunter? What about the amazing run from the bottom of League I to victory in the play off final? Or the amazing escape under Flicker or the ‘us against the world ‘ only season in the Premier? On all those examples I felt the Club and fans were as one - much more so than now. I also remember Hunter getting it ‘in the neck’ quite regularly from a lot of fans for his ridiculous treatment of Galvin.
It’s a great start but let’s keep it in perspective in relation to our whole history.

I didn't say it was the best time, but the support is incredible. In our promotion year to the premiership we were only getting about 7k up to Christmas.
Only Hunter period do I remember this level of support in the third tier. Obviously Premier League and following 2 seasons there were more fans, but we were at a higher level. Given what happened last year, I think it's remarkable.

I don't expect everyone to share my optimism & there are some decent teams in this division, which means going up will be difficult. Just feel confident that after the Morais / Hecky situation last year, we've got some real momentum.
