I had the pleasure today of spending an hour in the company of the guys putting this project together this afternoon. This was part of getting fans to give insights into their memories of the promotion season 97/98. I managed to put them to sleep with my stories and you never know they may have stayed awake long enough to put 30 secs in the film. For anyone who is not aware of the above it is a project to create a film based around Barnsley FC's season in the Premier League which is being made into a DVD and Cinema showing. It is being managed by the guy's behind West Stand Bogs along with Sky contracted free lance cameraman. The degree of professionalism exhibited was fantastic and I would ask anyone who has not already contributed towards this project to get behind it, I think it will be an enjoyable watch. I did an interview on Thursday evening and I was almost in tears as the memories csme flooding back. I too went on and on and only stopped when the Sky cameraman started snoring. They're doing a brilliant job. Release is scheduled for mid July, premier at the Lamproom. Can't wait.
