Neil Warnock has told him he can leave the club this summer. We need a LB surely worth a deal? Still young

Just another faceless loanee for me but I can't remember thinking he was a player I would like on a permanent.

I recall him being quick and able to get forward.

Id defo say its worth a punt, still young and should not command a high wage. We do need a proper left back too

He's a perfect example of why we trust Hecky as a coach. He's worked with players such as John, Elder, Jones and he will know implicitly if they are the type of player who fits the bill and who he can turn into a better player.
Therefore if John signed, it is because there is something to work with. If he doesn't, we scrub him off the list.

I thought he looked alright against us when they played us at our place a few months back. I'd take him. A good solid left back with the potential to improve, who can get forward quickly.

Am I right in thinking that he played left midfield, against us, at Oakwell? Can't remember seeing him play when we played away.

As a backup he'd not be the worst available

He'd be a good signing for us, get him in Hecky!

Yeh, played left wing back I believe. You might be right, he could have played left hand side of midfield but remember his delivery was better that night than what it was when he was on loan at us.
