Impressive KO but now needs to stop ducking Joshua and get the fight made for the end of the year.......

In my mind there's only one winner of that one. That's probably why Deontay has sensibly
    avoided him thus far.

Yep. Knows his stock will drop considerably if he goes up against Joshua, i think he also loses if he goes up against Fury again.

The top 3 are all ducking each other, it's just silly boxing politics. All about the money, make no mistake Mr Hearn is no rush to make that fight either.

    Brezeale is a dud though.

AJ did the same to him.

If he hits any heavyweight like that they’re gone. Putting Joshua’s name in your sentence is irrelevant really.

Teddy Atlas (for once) called it right in advance. You can be late to boxing and develop an offence, but building up a well schooled defence is much trickier. Breazeale has been playing at boxing, and you can tell by how slow his left hand is to protect/fire a punch - criminal against someone who’s best punch is an overhand right.

Wrong to make out it’s Wilder ducking Joshua when both sides have tabled offers.

Personally think all 3 are happy to fight separately & make fortunes from their TV deals without fighting each other.

Post fight was the first time in around six months Wilder has said anything positive about fighting Joshua. AJ has been consistent in calling out Wilder.

Fury took the offer of a lifetime when his stock was the highest - I get it on his side. I also think he realised coming back in to contention after another 6-9 months of solid training would stand him in better shape. Also, really wise move not going straight back in to the rematch.

Lots of talk regarding that Wilder will be rematching Luis Ortiz next time out. Shame really but its boxing politics and ego's preventing the fights we want to see.

Ortiz followed by the Polish guy and then AJ in 2020.

I don’t mind if next year all the major fights include Wilder v AJ v Fury

Whilst Wilder is one hell of a scary dude, Breazeale had no business being in that ring, crazy to go toe to toe with him from round one. Only ever one result. The stiff idiot.

I still see Fury as the number one. Always have, and always will until someone shows me otherwise. But I love watching the other two. And all three are so different it makes for compelling fights. We’ve seen two of them square off.

Until AJ actually gets in with one of them, he will always be seen (by me) as the third man.

I just think it’s completely irrelevant what any of them say in interviews when it’s all down to TV deals.

If Wilder fights Joshua in the biggest fight in the sport on non-PPV on a $20 a month subscription service it completely kills PPV not just for Wilder but for the sport. That’s great for your average American fan but not for Al Haymon & Showtime & even for Bob Arum & ESPN.

Basically they aren’t going to let Wilder fight on DAZN. And Joshua isn’t going to fight on Showtime as along with Canelo he’s the flag bearer for DAZN.

It’s a **** situation but I don’t think it’s either fighters fault. I can’t see Wilder leaving Haymon either as he’s extremely loyal to him after all the help with his disabled kid & Joshua won’t leave Hearn as that relationship enables him to make a fortune in the UK through Sky PPV.
