Although he was very impressive when he was on trial with Huddersfield;I believe that he may not play much for us. He certainly seems to be prone to injury, which is sad as he seems very good going forward. Similarly with Stefan Payne, very good but seems to get injured often.
I was there. Cavare : didn't want to be there. 1 good run forward. Zero interest in defending. I'm pretty sure he feigned injury to be subbed Mallon : tried really hard, lost the ball so many times. Scored the goal, would have been harder to miss Isgrove : brilliant on the ball, ran them ragged. Didn't track back and looked pretty unfit and far off 1st team call up. We've got some great scholars / first year pros coming through.
Harsley really unimpressed with Cavare, quipped that he would be coming off "whether he's injured or not." Did not impress. But, learning the language in a new country is toUgh, and he's still recovering from injury. Mallan good, not very vocal and a bit lightweight. Isgrove, lacklustre in terms of fitness but he's making his way back from injury so no worries. Looked to pick up a knock, maybe affected him? Josh Kay was good but mouthed off a bit too much and a bit hot headed/reactionary. Made an excellent (very hard) sliding tackle after getting into a heated debate with the ref and with Dylan Mottley Henry. He'll be a real player if he can keep his temper under control, keep his concentration up, and tackle like that. Motley Henry has the attributes but doesn't really know what to do with them at times. Ben Williams had a good game. Worked hard, learning well. Covered a lot of ground. Victor Adebayojo looks tidy. Big, strong, quick. Missed an open net from 3 yards out and fell face first on to the ball. 2 centre halfs looked solid, so did Wardle when he replaced Isgrove. Good game in all!
