    and it's just a catch, that most athletic (at least cricket trained) players would be expected to make on a crash mat.

    Secondly, have you even bothered watching the video of Luke Steele making 30 or 40 incredible saves? If you had, you wouldn't think that posting a video of him making a mistake once would in any way prove your point.

    You're a silly little boy who desperately needs to get laid, or at the very least get some friends at the same age as you to take you for a beer and make you realise that you're missing out on the best years of your life.

    I don't play cricket, I've never played a game of cricket. I don't bend to ever play cricket.

    But you give me a crash mat to dive into and I reckon I've got about a 50% chance of catching a ball. I'd hope it was much higher if it was my ******* job.

    I played cricket to an OK standard for a while. At the time I would have caught that. Even now in my dotage I'd be disappointed nor to do so.

    I was really good fielder in my day and even if I couldn't have batted or bowled could have got picked for my catching and fielding.
    That on the face of it looks a decent catch but the thing is the hard bit is the element of surprise, was it going left or right, high or low and then keeping hold if you jarred your arm when you landed. So if like that, I knew the direction and rough height and had a soft landing coming I would have been really, really disappointed with myself if I hadn't caught it.

    I play cricket at a low level but am a decent fielder, I'd expect to catch that. Like you say, you know where it's going, it's an easy landing and it's at a comfortable height. For an international cricketer that's a piece of piss.
