I thought he was back to something near his best today, and played a great game, the shot cleared off the line at the end would have had Oakwell imploding, but not to be. I thought Roberts also had a terrific game, close second to hammill
Yes, I thought he had a good game with a great attitude today. Even when things didn't come off he was a constant thorn in their side today.
Wasn't in my top five. Could have won it at the end with the only thing of note he did. He tried hard but it came to nothing. Too many off target attempts, including a number of free kicks. Couldn't fault his effort but he's just not doing it at this level.
Not bad in the first half, non-existent second half until injury time. Matty James or Josh Scowen motm for me, both had very solid games with James looking classy as usual.
A mate of mine who went today as a neutral thought Hammill was our best player if not a bit greedy. Also rated Ryan Kent, our centre halves and said that Watkins coming on changed the game. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Curious to know what he saw Watkins do to change the game. Perhaps he gave them something to think about but he was totally ineffective for me. He's a big lad but cannot seem to get off the ground to meet a header. Having said that, we might have done better with him starting rather than coming on later.
He said that he felt the movement he offered was something we were seriously lacking until he came on. I must admit that I thought he was much quieter than usual. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I imagine Watkins changing the game was more to do with the the change of formation, rather than Marley doing anything of note. I think Hammill deserved man of the match. I will also say a word about Janko, thought he played pretty well.
Macdonald for me. Scowen indirectly was responsible for their goal, although wtf Davies was doing i'll never know.
Yes, Adam had a "First name on the teamsheet for Tuesday" game. He scared them, as shown by the number of times they kicked him up in the air.
