Gone are the days when players broke their noses and cheekbones in a nightclub. The game's lost its soul.

Damaged his sinus as well MHTS. The weightlifting gear he was using broke causing his face to smash into
the metal part of the machine and the bar hit him on the head.
At one point he feared he could lose his eye and was warned his career could be over.

He will be permanently scarred and the Club have put him in touch with a sports psychologist to help him overcome the trauma. His good start to the season is causing optimism that a call up to the Wales squad is not far away and he has
said " Hopefully I am close to a call-up. There are internationals coming up in a few weeks. I would love to be involved in those
but, if not, there will be more coming up. If I keep playing well and scoring goals I should be picked sooner or later."*
