That between 7pm one night and 11:30am the next morning that four different people had all had meetings, spoken to lawyers, discussed terms, spoken to their families and all agreed to and had accepted job offers which entails a 70 mile daily commute? I dont
No, I’ve just made a new thread about it. I believe they’d discussed it months before due to interest from another club (probably Sunderland) & had all agreed to go together if the right offer was on the table. For whatever reason it didn’t, possibly money or there wasn’t a job for them all but they were all in agreement & ready to go if the right deal game up
Yes I believe it. What I can’t believe is that Hecky left to join Leeds because he thought it was a better job. So why did he leave?
Don’t really care now to be honest. I can understand why he went. I can understand why they went with him. But this is still my club, still the only one I care about, I’m not particularly arsed whether they were tapped up or not. Much more interested in the replacement and how long it takes for them to be appointed.
I've been scratching my head for months wondering where this horrendous run came from. We were in the relatively safe position of 16th in mid-November, 7 points clear of the drop zone, with a record of W5 D5 L6. Everyone was full of praise for a successful rebuild against all the odds. I now know our head coach (and god knows who else) hasn't been fully committed to the cause for ages.
