You constantly blame Davies for yesterday’s result.

Not to blame for any of it, so stop it.

Not just blaming him, and yesterday was the first time ever I have brought Davies up. But he’s not been good enough all season. Besides it makes a change blaming Jose like most do every week..

FYI it’s a forum for views so I can say what I want pal

You’ve posted at least 5 times blaming Davies you dollshead.

He wasn’t at fault, Mills and Potts were.

    Give it a rest.

No. When I’ve seen him for U23s I’ve been less than convinced he’s ready. but he’s a young lad who will hopefully improve. It could ruin him throwing him in for a pressure game.

Davies has been poor this season by his previous standards. He wasn’t to blame yesterday at all.

Try making one ******* thread then rather than lots of different ones making the same point.

I don’t mind other people’s opinions. I just think people who make the same point on thread after thread are mentally challenged. Sithi

A long while ago. But if the choice was Davies or Walton then for me it has to be Davies.

Have you watched Walton much for the U23s? Would you say he is ready for first team football, let alone championship, let alone 3 massive pressure games.

It is not saying he won’t ever be ready. But it’s similar for when Luke Potter started against West Brom. He would be woefully out of his depth and could have lasting damage.

It's a no from me. In the position we're in there is no way I would blood a keeper who has never played in the first team.

upto this season Davies was with out a doubt one of our most underated players giving 100% and putting performances in 2nd to none probably the most consistent shot stopper in the league ,,,,,,,so what has happened this year.iknow we have played some good teams this season but none that have been head and shoulders above us it just seams davis hasn't been withit I'm baffled

It's a relief that people who clearly don't know what they're talking about, aren't in a position to make such desperate, straw-clutching decisions...Oh hang on!

I don’t care what anyone says, he should have saved that shot for the first goal. Awful goalkeeping. It trickled past him.

The goalkeeping department all season regardless who has played has been horrendous. The situation needed to be addressed in January and wasn't. Two new goalkeepers required in the summer for me and Vaughan needs to be replaced as coach. No improvement seen in any keeper all season. Davies has lacked confidence and you never hear him. Poor distribution and no presence whatsoever. Decent shot stopper at times but that phrase gets on my nerves as every keeper can do that. Goalkeeping however is so much more and he falls below what is required

However bad Davies has been (I’ve always been a big fan of his but his confidence and performance level have dropped along with the rest of the team this season) it would be a mistake to put the young lad in with 3 critical games to go.

Davies hasn't been good for 18 months. But there is no point playing Walton as he won't make it for us.
