Gone to hospital. Is on crutches, and had an air cast on. Took full force of a shot on his shin.
Doesn't sound like we'll be seeing him any time soon. :-(

Oh dear .fraid it's time for players on fringe to come up to the metal.
Remember one lad did against Man untd a while back.
Anything possible with the Stendell effect

He could easily have suffered a broken leg. I still believe that Whiteman " did him"
and should have been carded. McGeehan and Browns return next Saturday will
be welcome, but we might have to manage without Kenny Dougall and Daniel Pinillos
    which will be a blow.

It was just above his shin and below his knee. Pretty much got the full pelt of a toe end on it.

Even without a break or fracture, I’d say he’d be out for 2-3 week with heavy bruising.

Obviously I don't know but I am guessing it will be a fair bit longer than that. Wouldn't be surprised if he's out for the season.

Yes, if fractured or broken I can see it being the end of his season.

    Just hope it’s heavy bruising.

Shades of Stephen McPhail being kicked out of the game a few years back by another Donny thug called Doohan.

This is the problem when you start putting together a team that can play good football. You’re only one game away from losing the better components of it to agricultural tackles. Kenny has been on the receiving end twice this season - Shrewsbury and last night.

He got a pretty hefty one in the Southend game too. Again where’s the protection from Refs. Lindsey got carded lady night for a blatant foul but with no real menace.

Just as we get him back. Really hope nothing is fractured or broken.

At least it was on Sky so their player will get a 3 match ban ?? (or not) I agree he seems to be targeted. Back to Cam next week then !

Presumably the FA will analyse the film to death and bring charges. Oh wait.......

Yes your right FA will see that Dougall tried to take out their player with s crunching knee tackevon his toe cap and ban him for three matches when he returns from injury.

Seemed a fair challenge to me from Dougall, Donny lad was in the act of shooting, no blame on either side, just one of them things.

Not only was he looking straight at it but he had a Barnsley player (Williams?) standing right next to him looking in the same direction who immediately appealed. Must have seen it. Of course Sky said it was very difficult for the ref with so much going on in the box which was total bollocks..

Agreed. Brave challenge. My fear when I saw it was more for his cruciate ligaments

Had a chat with Mick Harford last night in the posh seats at the Keepmoat. Interesting guy, would take second place, he is off at the end of the season regardless. And as for gorgeous George? "Needs a pre season. Miles behind fitness wise. Player in there somewhere ".
