    I’m not sure I can this year and gutted tbh but hopefully things could change and I make it .
    Always look forward to this brass band and banner fest.

    3 out of last four years been glorious so can’t grumble , it’ll not dampen spirits though .

    Was planning on going this year, but can’t now. My brother has attended quite a few times and thinks it’s a fabulous day- out. Ne’er mind I’ll try for next year

    would love to attend but alas way too far for me. I used to love the Gala in Hoyland every year as a kid. You cannot beat a Yorkshire miners brass band, got a fair few cd's of them. But I know live in S. Wales and my wife's family were very much in the mines (Rhymney Valley) and the Welsh miners male voice choirs are beautiful too. I would love to see a top Yorkshire Miners brass band team up with a top Welsh miners male voice choir.... I reckon it would be glorious.
