To me this is the most important step. Cosying up.and arming those who hate our way of life is wrong. The last Labour administration and the current tories have put money before security. It has to stop.

Vote who you want but no one will stop this sorry to say.... don't get me started on Saudi when cameron was getting hammered because he didn't want to take in 20k refugees how many did Saudi take?? None. stop selling them arms would be a start although other countries won't follow suit, stop these terrorist going to the middle east training and getting brainwashed and then coming back like the manchester bomber did. By the way Corbyns strategy of shooting to hurt not to kill would have worked well with 3 loonies with knives and fake bomb jackets on. Country's ****** be same no matter who wins on Thursday.

You can't stop nutters. You can stop selling arms to countries that promote radical Islam and its bile and trickle down weapons to them.

I'm disgusted with Theresa May's 'enough is enough' speech.
One death at the hands of terrorists is 'enough' !!!
If it wasn't public pressure being applied - how many more deaths would she allow?
She's had 7 years to get a grip with terrorists - and failed.
    Horrible women.

    Prevention is better than cure.?

Absolutely gobsmacked watching reports on the ITV news bulletin. Three local residents in Barking where it
appears some of last nights London Bridge attackers lived have just told the reporter that they notified their concerns over one of the perpetrators to the security forces two years ago.!

They were shown a photo of the terrorist on the reporters phone and they agreed that that was him. They said he had been watching extreme terrorist propaganda on You Tube and made no attempt to hide his beliefs.

One of the males speaking to the reporter said he had had to stop the terrorist from trying to influence his kids.
I am starting to wonder why these concerns are not being picked up.? It's extremely concerning.

I'm sure they are being noted but realistically what can you do? Especially if someone was born here, you can't lock them up for watching some propaganda, there aren't enough prisons and you can't deport them to another random country just because their parents/grandparents were born there. Until someone actually commits a crime then there's nothing you can do, people can't be held indefinitely.

Watch them? Investigate them? If they are using hate speech, supporting terrorism or inciting violence, then there are laws to lock them up and give them access to moderate Imman's in prison to try to alleviate their extremist beliefs in a safe environment. We've had 3 attacks this year and in each case, the perpetrators have been known to the authorities in advance.

London Bridge and Borough are a regular haunt for me. Walked around there many a time and my wife works just the other side of the bridge. The weekend before we were coming back from a wedding and got the train back to East Dulwich. Could so easily have been caught up in it.

    Thankfully I wasn't though.

What has been a surprise, the slow reaction to making the bridges safer for pedestrians. The bridges are very wide and the pavements are boulevard like. You can see why they've targeted bridges with hundreds, maybe thousands at peak times on there and nothing to stop a vehicle mounting the kerb and doing whats unthinkable to many.

There have been security blocks in place at the front of the shard, in front of downing street, houses of parliament and admiralty arch for years, and sure there are others too.

Yet for months nothing has been added to bridges. It showed yesterday that with the instruction to do so, security bollards can be put down overnight.

Hats off to the police for a swift reaction and the people of London for helping people dieing in the street. A diverse multicultural city that can be proud when faced with adversity.

Theres been about 70 arrests including yesterdays raids for terrost related offences since the inital westminister attack.

Take out say 1/3 to cover those arrested in relation to the manchester and london bridge it still leaves 40 arrested who have no links to any of the three major attacks this year.
