well we got Roberts from Halifax town in the non league circuit... If Pinnock turns out as good then we have done good business here IMHO ...... depending on what we have paid for him of course.

He's naturally left footed which can't be a bad thing for balance amongst our defenders and can play left back as well as centre back.

Hope his family realise that he's just moved from one club where they can't get a meat pie at half time to the other one :)

Highly rated by his Club and fans apparently. Forest Green Rovers got him from Dulwich Hamlet.
Versatile as he can play Centre back, Left back or as a holding midfielder.
Just the kind of player we want to my mind.

Can also play as holding midfield, which could also be useful in the grand scheme of things!

Good to see nearly all our signings 6 ft plus which I don't thinks a bad thing just need that big target man now

Looks to be an excellent prospect. Shame we are not adding to the squad rather than filling in the gaps but a good signing.

    Well bought Barnsley.

He's been very good for us (FGR) and that showed when he had short period of injury from an X-Rated tackle meted out to him. We were not the same team without him.
He'll get you the odd goal and make the occasional spirited run from the centre of defence that will get the crowd buzzing.
His chief asset being his ability to read a game, he's graceful, agile and just seems to have oodles of time. He fitted in with FGR's passing game, but was well able to adapt to a 'grinder' if needed. Decent left sided central defenders are scarce as 'hens teeth', but he's better than decent
You've done well to sign him - even though he may well have set you back circa £1m.
On behalf of all FGR fans we would appreciate you 'looking after him' - we will miss him, but if truth be told he was leagues better than the National League.
Hopefully I'll get an opportunity to see him in action some time this season - before some premiership team snatches him from you!!

Best of luck for the season.

Cheers for the post, sounds promising from that. We love to develop a player so can't wait to see how he progresses.

Thanks for taking the time to post. Good luck to you guys for the new season.

Hope you stick around and join in the banter from time to time. It's great to get fans from other teams on here and we're building up a decent collection of them.
