It's a shame it's taken months to give him a chance, as he doesn't play like someone with such little league experience. Can see why Forest Green fans rated him so highly. He appears so calm on the ball and not one to panic. Hope he continues to improve.
I agree. But we appear to have uncovered another absolute diamond in the rough with this lad. Looks very assured and composed. Reasonably similar to how Alfie Mawson was. That header was great. Reminded me of Hecky's away at Tranmere all those years ago.
Cant see why were not giving brown or adeboyejo a go.... I get why he's persevering with bradshaw, shown promise in league 1 etc but i just dont think hes quite got enough to warrant starting every game
I couldn't make today's game but pinnock looked class v preston I spoke to my dad earlier who went he said cant see us keeping hold of him long looks quality. Keep it up ethan.
Yeah dont know what it is, im just not convinced. As u say 9 goals, i agree it sounds bizarre to have this opinion on a player that has scored in a poor team. Its a strange game and we all see things in our own way.... Maybe he'l go onto score 20 goals, lets hope!
I reckon that if Pinnock had played up front all game we'd have won! PS -When did Bradshaw get his 9th?
Wasn't that his 7th and then the goal at Fulham his 8th? Both BBC and Soccerbase have him down for 8.
Centre backs our best position. Got 4 decent ones & Pearson & McCarthy who can do a job in an emergency. Baffles me to see people suggesting centre backs on here. Desperately need improvements in the final third. Priorities should be - 1. Striker 2. Central midfielder 3. Keeper 4. Replacements for Barnes / Yiadom if they go
Just shows what a little bit of good coaching can do for a player. Saw him in pre season and he was a million miles away from the player I saw yesterday.
